Caller never announces who they are or whose behalf they are calling. Advises Master Card account has been 'stopped' and to press 1 to reactivate. After pressing 1, recording will request to press '1' to confirm or '2' to delete. I pressed to and the recording will just repeat. Notified my back who advised no such call came from them.

They called me and said that they had a very important issue to talk about with me that had to do with an old acount from years back. And that if I new better I would call them now. I could not understand the name of the company and they would just state an old account issue.

I was told to pay $859.45 in 30 min or I will be served with papers and arrested and have a criminal background. I offered to pay payments - they put me on hold - then said I had to pay $500 now and in 3 days the balance. She gave me this # to call before I fax over a paper with my account #, exp date, code #. When I tried to call back(through an operator) they said there is no listing for this #. I could not get through. I faxed a letter expressing more info. She called me back 2 hrs later and said I had no right to call US Attorney @ 125 Park Ave in NYC(which she told me she represented) and she wouldn't tell me the note I was to pay off. The 125 Park Ave had no listing of US Attorney ofice.

Calls all the time, usually ignore...today got fed up and answered. Conversation went as follows: Me: Hello? Them: My I speak to Sarah? Me: Who is calling? Them:....ah...Colby. Me: With? Them: ...ah...Shell. Me: I don't know a Sarah, have been getting calls from this number for a long time, it's a cellphone, stop calling. Them: I'm sorry, I must have the wrong number. END. I don't have a Shell account, never have, don't know who they are looking for. Don't like the hesitancy in her voice....obvious lies.

I received a call from this number and all I heard was noise in the background. Sounded like a television. I have call intercept for blocked numbers and I thought I had to dial 1 to approve the call, but I'm afraid I may have authorized some weird charge.
